Way up high,
In a tree,
Two little apples
Smiled at me.
So I SHOOK that tree
Just as hard as I could!
And down came those apples,
Mmmmmm….they were good.
This is one of our favorite preschool songs celebrating apples that my kids sing and dance to every fall. Our supermarkets are bursting with red, green, pink, and yellow hued fruits that are crisp and tart, sweet and juicy.
There are so many types of apples to try….some are more ideal for snacking and some better for baking. Did you know that there are more than 7500 varieties apples in the world? Half the fun, though, is in tasting them all and finding out which one is which for yourself! Which variety is your favorite?
Apples are the one of the most popular fruits in the world, of course we have to explore an Apple theme and learn more about this popular fruit! Read on for more fun Apples theme learning activities for preschoolers and toddlers!
