Make this All About Me Caterpillar every year!
Since my children started preschool, we have been making an All About Me caterpillar yearly on their first day of school. Their answers to the questions about their favorite things, their ambitions etc are always so fun to read a few years down the road.
This is also a wonderful activity for the first day of Preschool for teachers and students to learn more about each other. The children take turns sharing the answers during circle time.

How to use this Preschool All About Me Caterpillar Printable
On this printable, there are three pages with 18 circles. It is entirely up to you how many pages/circles you like to print out. Print and cut out the circles. On every page, I have also included one blank circle for the caterpillar head.
Here are some ideas on how to do this activity with your child. Invite your child to pick out:
- as many circles he/she like,
- the number of circles according to his years of age OR
- the number of circles according to the number of letters in his/her name.
For young children, the adults may have to read the questions and write their answers down for them. The older kids may like to do the writing themselves.
Now, print out a small current photo of your child and paste it on the blank circle to make the head. Cut two short strips to make the caterpillar’s tentacles if you like.
Attach all the circles together to form a caterpillar!
These All About Me Caterpillars make such precious keepsakes. Every year, take out the old ones and have fun reading the answers together with your children. I love looking at the photos and see how much my children have grown!
