Snowman Activity to Learn Counting and Addition

For young preschoolers who are learning to count, invite them to count the buttons on the snowman and add on the hat with the matching number.

For bigger kids who are ready to take on the addition challenge, stack on more snowman bodies, add up the buttons on the snowman and find the hat with the correct answer.

Do you have little toddlers at home? They can stack and build a snowman, as tall or as short as they like. This activity is a perfect chance to introduce comparative terms like short or tall, shorter vs taller to young children.
