Every year, we can't wait for December and do all things fun the whole month to celebrate Christmas. There are so many opportunities for creativity, whimsy, fun, and learning! I can’t wait to share with you my favourite Christmas themed learning activities for your kids to delight in.

Christmas Theme Activities and Learning Shelf
The activities are designed for children ages 2 to 5 years old. They have been categorized into the following learning areas: language, numeracy, motor skills, discovery of the world, arts & sensory play, social & emotional development. This will support you in putting together a learning experience for your children that is comprehensive and tailor made for them.

Toddler Christmas Theme Activities (2 to 3 years old)
- Christmas Tree Colour Matching Sensory Bag (numeracy, motor skills): Children push the pompoms to the circles with matching colours. For older children, you can add a number and let your children do counting.
- Christmas Gifts Dot Stickers Color Matching (numeracy, motor skills)
- Christmas Lights Dot Stickers Line Up (motor skills)
- TP Roll Christmas Tree Color Matching (numeracy)
- Dot Stickers Christmas Tree Shape Matching (numeracy)
- Shape Christmas Tree Puzzle (numeracy, motor skills)
- Snowman Pompom Drop (motor skills)
- Contact Paper Santa's Beard (motor skills)
- Cotton Bud Counting Christmas Tree (numeracy, motor skills): practice 1 to 1 correspondence counting and fine motor skills by poking the cotton buds into the holes. For 2 to 3yo, write numbers 1 to 12 and let them count and insert the matching number of cotton bud ornaments. For the 4 to 6yo, toss two dice and add up the numbers on the dice. Insert the matching number of cotton bud ornaments.
Preschool Christmas Theme Activities (3 to 5 years old)
- Vowel Christmas Tree (literacy): find and dot the vowels in matching colours. For 3yo, use either uppercase or lowercase letters. For 4 to 5yo, match uppercase to lowercase letters.

- Christmas lights Chinese sight words matching (language) - Download this Christmas Chinese Sight Word Printable.
